How can I participate in West Midlands in Europe?
Membership of West Midlands in Europe is open to organisations in the West Midlands who wish to benefit from the aims of the partnership. We currently have over 90 organisations (see here for a full list) from the public, private and voluntary sectors. Benefits of membership Membership provides an ideal opportunity for you to:
Categories of membership There are 4 levels of membership reflecting the priority and resources that you as an organisation are able to give to European affairs: Individual Level Individual Level membership is an ideal starting point for small NGOs and representative bodies interested in keeping abreast of EU affairs. At this level, you will receive regular information on EU policy, funding and events. You can also use the Brussels Office to raise your profile and extend your contacts in Europe. Annual Subscription: €1,800 per year (+ VAT) (2007-08) Regional Level This next step up is ideal for larger representative bodies and organisations with a more active interest in EU affairs. By getting to know you better we will increase our understanding of your priorities to provide more targeted services. We can offer advance notice of opportunities and policies relevant to you and help you get the most out of Europe and your membership. Annual Subscription: €10,600 per year (+ VAT) (2007-08) Senior Level Senior Level membership is for regional organisations looking for substantive, dedicated support for their European work. A tailored work programme agreed with you will ensure your needs are best met, with the Brussels Office working proactively to represent your interests. Annual Subscription: €95,500 per year (+ VAT) (2007-08) Regional Management Partners Advantage West Midlands and West Midlands Local Government Association (representing the region's 38 local authorities) are our 2 Regional Management Partners.
